Dr. Moturi has carefully cultivated treatment algorithms for anti-depressant medication to achieve the most favorable and positive outcomes. He works tirelessly with each patient to develop the best medication regimen. The following services have been added to assist patients who may need additional support for treatment-resistant depression.
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) for Treatment-Resistant Depression
We are now offering TMS treatment through a partnership with Michael Faraday Health. TMS is available for patients 18 years of age and up with major depressive disorder who have not responded well to other depression treatments. TMS is a noninvasive technological breakthrough that stimulates nerve cells in the region of the brain involved with mood control and depression.
If you are interested, we will meet for a consultation and determine if you are a good candidate for the program. We will work with the insurance companies and arrange for transparent billing before the program begins.

Esketamine for Treatment-Resistant Depression
Esketamine is a nasal spray treatment that helps when other depression medications have not been effective. It works differently than other antidepressants because it immediately impacts the brain cells, offering relief from depressive symptoms within hours. Candidates for Esketamine treatment must be 18 years of age or older and have not responded well to traditional treatment methods. Esketamine is administered through a nasal spray for three weeks or six treatments. If you feel that your treatment for depression is not working, we can schedule an appointment to see if esketamine therapy is a good option for you.
